Being a female general surgeon puts Dr. Michaela Klein in a rare status, but she comes by such things naturally. “I guess the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, because my mom was the first woman truck driver in Israel,” she says. “So, when I told her I was going to be a general surgeon she said, ‘You go, girl.
