Knox College Swimmers Shatter Records

The Knox College swimming and diving team competed had an exceptional day in the Grinnell Invitational January 15th and 16th, setting five new school records - two individual records and three team records.

The individual record-setters were Bess Cooley (Shorewood, Wisconsin) and Emilie Perrot (Besancon, France). Cooley won the 200 Breast stroke in 2:28.79 - breaking her own school record that she set earlier in the season. Perrot set the second individual record as she won the 200 Back in 2:18.45. The previous record was 2:19.45 set in 2000.

Breaking team records were the 400 Medley relay team, the 200 Medley relay team and the 400 Free relay team.
