Nationally syndicated political columnist Jonah Goldberg, a contributing editor of National Review and founding editor of the magazineâ€™s website, National Review Online, will give a talk, â€œLiberal Fascism,â€ at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts, Knox College.
The free, public lecture is sponsored by Knox Republicans, with additional support from the Young Americaâ€™s Foundation and the Intellectual Diversity Foundation.
Goldbergâ€™s talk is based on his best-selling book, â€œLiberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning.â€ Following the lecture, Goldberg will sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase.
A member of the Board of Contributors to USA Today, Goldberg has served as a media critic for Brillâ€™s Content and The American Enterprise, and a Washington columnist for the Times of London.
