President Clinton’s addresses Knox grads


With thoughtful advice for the future and a keen sense of humor about himself and politics, former President Bill Clinton gave Knox College graduates something to think about Saturday.

Clinton delivered the commencement speech at Knox, where more than 4,500 people and the 205 attending graduates heard the nation’s 42nd president stress the importance of unity, tolerance and working together.

“The most important thing I learned is that every human being on Earth, genetically, is 99.9 percent the same,” Clinton said. “Go figure.”
