Knox Graduates Receive Honors

Following graduation, Knox students are encouraged to pursue their career choices to improve the quality of life.

Four alumni of the college were honored last night (Friday) for their continued education after leaving Knox.

Valerie Cwik, William Reiners, and Ross Kelly are now members of a group of alumni who after leaving school, try and advance their knowledge of a chosen field.

Cwik was honored with the alumni award for her pursuit of medical research for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Reiners was honored for his work on the study of ecology and the changes it faces.

Kelly, the Young Alumni Achievement Award winner, continues using his Knox education to help orphaned and abandoned children in Sudan.

Following the awards ceremony, Knox College Alumni Council Chair Joyce Hertko emphasized the pride Knox feels for the award winners and their accomplishments.
