Students favor openness of Iowa’s caucus

Fresh off their visit to the 2012 Iowa Caucus, some Knox College students commended the unique electoral process for its openness and grassroots-style engagement… In total, 15 students traveled to Iowa City to watch different precincts privately cast votes for the Republican presidential nomination and watch individual precincts debate on how to shape the Iowa Republican Party’s platform.
