Monica McGill (Computer Science) recently presented a paper during two special sessions at the Association of Computing Machinery’s 2018 Special Interest Group in Computer Science Education (SIGCSE) in Baltimore, Maryland. The paper was titled Improving Research and Experience Reports of Pre-College Computing Activities: A Gap Analysis. The sessions were: Connecting Evaluation and Computing Education Research: Why is it so Important? and Repositories You Shouldn’t be Living Without.

McGill was also a presenter at the NSF Showcase, presenting work from a 5-year NSF grant, Establishing and Propagating a Model for Evaluating the Long Term Impact of Pre-College Computing Activities.
