On Saturday Feb. 25, there will be a Mardi Gras Pubcrawl to raise money for the Knox Prairie Community Kitchen. The pubcrawl begins at 6 p.m. at Cherry Street, then travel at 7p.m. to Buddes Bar, then at 8 p.m. to The Seminary Street Pub and then at 9 p.m. at McGillacuddy’s. Each location will donate a percentage of the sales to the KPCK. There will be guest bartenders at some locations, various prizes, chances at 50/50 drawings, musical guests, and fantastic costumes along the way.  Costumes are optional but encouraged and will be judged silently throughout the evening with overall winners announced and awarded at McGillacudy’s. All proceeds go to the KPCK in support of their Mission: to serve nutritious food with dignity, respect, and compassion to our neighbors regardless of situation, background, or ability to pay. We seek to strengthen our community by sharing meals with our neighbors and engaging in outreach and educational activities related to hunger, food insecurity, and food policy.  For more info contact John Hunigan at (309) 342-3005
