The Knox Choir’s Home Tour concert on March 23 will showcase works performed during the group’s tour of Spain during Knox’s Spring Break, March 11-20.
The choir will perform at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 23, in Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts.
The 53-member choir, conducted by Laura Lane, professor of music and director of choral activities, will perform works by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Tomas Luis de Victoria, and Felix Mendelssohn. Several selections were chosen specifically for the performances in Barcelona and the Catalan region of Spain.
The concert also features a composition by one of the choir members, Edward Davis ’12, a music and English literature major from Chicago.
