Invitation to Asha for Life dinner and meeting with author Corban Addison

Posted on October 25th, 2012.

You are invited to attend the monthly dinner-meeting hosted by Asha for Life Community, a new organization in Galesburg that is working to raise awareness about the sex trade in India. Asha also raises funds to help support a house in India for young girls rescued from the sex trade.

The next meeting is on Monday, October 29, 6 p.m. We will be having a very special presentation that night. Corban Addison, author of A Walk Across the Sun will be talking to us through Skype. We will be able to hear what he has to say about his book. We will also be able to ask him questions. Whether you have read the book or not, this will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the sex slavery through his very compelling novel.

We will meet at Trinity Lutheran Church, located on the corner of N. Kellogg and E. Ferris Streets. The Ferris Street door will be open. Please look for a sign on that door.

Instead of dinner that night, the Asha group will be providing appetizers and drinks. Please come and join us for this wonderful opportunity to participate in the interview with the author with the Asha group.

Everyone is welcome.
