Chad Simpson recently published four short stories: “The Other Woman” appeared in Five Chapters (http://www.fivechapters.com/2012/the-other-woman/); “Translated from the French” appeared in BETTER: Culture & Lit (http://bettermagazine.org/001/chadsimpson.html); “The Most Beautiful Thing About Her” appeared in WhiskeyPaper (http://whiskeypaper.com/the-most-beautiful-thing-about-her-by-chad-simpson/); and “Open Mic Night at Fat Fish Pub” appeared in Wigleaf (http://wigleaf.com/). Simpson also recently published an essay, “The Lake Cabin,” in Carry On (http://www.letscarryon.com/2012/09/12/the-lake-cabin/). To celebrate the October 1st release of his story collection, Tell Everyone I Said Hi, winner of the 2012 John Simmons Short Fiction Award, Simpson will be giving a Caxton Club reading at 4:00 on October 5th in the Alumni Room. He will also be signing books later that night from 5:30-8:00 at Stone Alley Books & Collectibles during the First Friday event.
