Knox now has an actual bike shop. The bike club and the sustainability office are partnering in different ways to stock it with bike tools and parts, but we also need standard tools. So if anyone has old or duplicate tools they’d be willing to donate, we’d certainly put them to good use. I’m talking about hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, mallets, etc. Consider also donating unused dust collecting bikes to the bike share program.

Second, Wilson house gets used for a lot of different events, many of which bring in lots of disposable dinnerware. We’d like to stock the ample kitchen there with silverware and dinnerware that could be washed, to make the house and kitchen more green for all the different picnics, parties and dinners that happen there. I don’t think we’re really interested in single items, but if anyone has old sets of silverware, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, etc., we would also put them to good use.

If you have anything you think may be useful for either of these two projects, contact Todd Smith, Ext. 7541.
