Boxcar People is a one-hour documentary that tells the story of the Mexican immigrants who came to Galesburg a century ago to work for the railroads. They lived in boxcar camps or brick rowhouses on the west side of town, in some cases for more than 30 years. Local residents Will and Luz Schick worked with WTVP to write and produce this film. And Knox’s Daniel Godsil wrote the musical score.

Make your reservation to attend this premiere of Galesburg’s Boxcar People.
