Music, Art and Barn Dance at Green Oaks, May 31

The students and staff of the 2014 Green Oaks Term invite members of the campus community to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s program with an open house and barn dance. The Dewitt Brown Research Center at Green Oaks will be open to visitors beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. Events are as follows:

4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Open house and musical entertainment; refreshments served (bring your own picnic dinner if you like)

5:00p.m.-7:00 p.m. Opening of Tony Gant’s art installation

6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Concert of folk and old-time music by Knox’s own student-faculty string band, the Prairie Fireflies

7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. Barn Dance; all dances will be taught, no partner or experience needed
