Tickets for the Knox-Galesburg Symphony’s 2014-15 season are now available through August 14 at the KGS Office, Room 148 in the Knox College Center for Fine Arts. A special discount ticket package of five concerts for the price of four, starting as low as $40 for the season, is available for the subscription series. With purchase of season series tickets, subscribers are offered reduced prices for the non-subscription performances of the Knox-Galesburg Symphony “First Chairs Forward” Recital on February 7, Bruce Polay & “Old Friends” Piano Recital/Commentary on April 24 and the KGS May 16 “Celebrate Mom at the Pops” Concert which, this year, will feature “Music from the Great American Songwriters”. Discounted value package prices are also available for all seven performances. Children and students receive a 50% discount on all ticket purchases. Patrons will save up to 35% by purchasing a KGS package of 5 subscription concerts or the 7-event value package through August 14. After September 3, all single and subscription tickets will be sold by the Orpheum Theatre Office at the full ticket price.

Under the baton of Bruce Polay, KGS artistic director/conductor, this 63rd season of the KGS will feature accomplished international, national, and statewide guest artists in five subscription concert performances.
