International Fair week will consist of various activities to promote the diversity found in Knox College student body. The theme of I-Fair 2015 is “Stories and Fables.” The schedule of the week’s activities are as follows:
Monday, January 26, Traditional Outfit Day: Demonstrate your identity throughout the day and come take nice pictures at the Alumni Hall Atrium at 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, January 27, “Share Your Story in Seven” words, lines, whatever you choose. Students will be tabling during lunch and dinner times in the Seymour Gallery, Seymour Union.
Wednesday, January 28: “Not Quite White” Film by Jamil Khoury, will be followed by a discussion at Round Room, CFA at 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, January 29, I-Mag Release: Come check out the International Magazine 2015 along with some of the books from the Knox College’s International Children Stories Collection in the Ferris Lounge, in Seymour Hall, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m
Friday, January 30, Knox Amazing Race: Sign up in groups of 3 in Google Form if interested. The race starts at 5:00 p.m. in Ferris Lounge, Taylor Union.
Friday, January 30, Chai Town: a Bollywood acappella group from University of Illinois Champagne Urbana will be performing at Kresge Recital Hall at 9:00 p.m – 10:00 p.m. This event is brought to you by Union Board and AAINA.
Saturday, January 31, International Fair:
Doors Open: 1:00 p.m. in Kresge Recital Hall, CFA.
Flag Parade & Cultural Showcase: 1:30 – 4 p.m. in Kresge Recital Hall, CFA.
Booths: 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in Lobby. CFA.
Food Fair: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Oak Room, Skylight, and Lincoln Room, Seymour Union.
Dinner costs for Knox Students with a meal plan: Card Swipe. Dinner costs for everyone else (adults and children alike): $6.50.
