The Knox-Galesburg Symphony will present a performance, “First Chairs Forward,” featuring Eric Ginsberg, KGS principal clarinet, KGS principal cellist Carolyn Suda and KGS artistic director/conductor Bruce Polay, piano. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7 in Kresge Recital Hall, Ford Center for Fine Arts.

Brahm’s Trio for Piano, Clarinet and Violoncello in A minor Opus 114, Beethoven’s Trio in B-flat Major Opus 11, Prokofiev’s Cello Sonata in C Major, Opus 119 and the world premiere of Bruce Polay’s “Flight of Fancy” for Clarinet and Piano, commissioned by the Galesburg Symphony Society in 2014, will be performed.

General admission tickets are $12 and are available at the Orpheum Theatre Ticket Office (309-342-2299), 57 South Kellogg St., Galesburg or at the door Saturday. Children are half-price.
NOTE: Knox students are $5.00 at the door only.
