On Friday, May 15, at 4 p.m. in the Alumni Room, Old Main, writer Elizabeth Cohen will be featured at the final Caxton Club of the academic year. Cohen will also announce this year’s Davenport Prizes in Fiction.
Cohen is Assistant Professor of English at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she serves as fiction editor of the Saranac Review. Her memoir, The Family on Beartown Road, was a New York Times Notable Book, and her articles, stories, and poetry have appeared in SELF, MORE, Newsweek, People, the New York Times Magazine, Salon, Tablet, and Yale Review. She is the author of The Hypothetical Girl, a collection of stories, and What the Trees Said, a collection of poems.
