From: Tri Delta and Harambee
Dear Knox community,
I am writing to you on behalf of Tri Delta and Harambee to invite you to come and celebrate the life of Tundun Lawani. Tundun was sister of ours who we tragically lost on this day three years ago, way before her time. She was struck by a drunk driver on the intersection of South and West St.
I never met Tundun, but what I have heard about her was that she was a shining light on this campus. She loved to sing and never failed to ask everybody how they were doing, always cheering up her friends. We encourage all Knox students, faculty, and staff to come, regardless if they knew her or not!
Please join us today at 6 p.m. at Tundun’s tree (we’ll meet at 5:55 p.m. in the Gizmo for those who don’t know where it is) where we’ll write her letters, sing a song, and bring candles to South St.
Peace be with you all,
Vice President of Chapter Development, Delta Delta Delta
