Saturday, Dec. 5 @ 5 AM. We will be upgrading my.knox.edu to the latest release of the underlying software (aka JICS 8.2). We anticipate that my.knox.edu will be down for ~2.5 hours. When my.knox.edu is again available at ~8 AM you will be able to login and gain access to the applications on the front page (ie GMail, Drive, ….). Individual portlets (ie Pay Stub, KnoxAlert, …) will be available while other components are updated. We anticipate restoration of full service by 6 PM Saturday.
Monday, Dec. 7 @ 5 PM. Installation of new Internet firewall. Internet access to and from campus will be unavailable during the installation and configuration. We anticipate this will take less than an hour to accomplish — However, once we start we’ll be down until it works.
