Ferrigno’s Work in NYC Exhibition

Andrea Ferrigno’s (Art) work, “Desired Mobility”, was one of 34 works selected from over 1000 entries for inclusion in this summer’s exhibition at Blue Mountain Gallery in Chelsea, NYC. The juror was art critic, curator, and distinguished poet, John Yau. The exhibition runs through July 28.

J. Anderson Article Published

Jon Anderson (International Studies) published an article titled “On the Expression of Diminutivity in Susu” with Christopher Green (Syracuse University) and Samuel Obeng (Indiana University) in the Journal of West African Languages (Volume 45). The article describes and analyzes the semantics of diminutive morphemes in the language Susu, spoken in Guinea and Sierra Leone. Kasser Update

Tim Kasser (Psychology) recently had two of his books published in other languages. His 2002 book, The High Price of Materialism, was published in Russian by Mann-Ivanov-Ferber. His 2018 cartoon book, Hypercapitalism: The Modern Economy, Its Values, and How to Change Them, was published in French by Seuil/Delcourt.
