Four poems by Cyn Kitchen Fitch (English) appear in Issue 10 of Poetry South, the literary magazine of Mississippi University for Women. The poems are “Is Like,” “Prairie Schooner,” “A Periodic Slug of Nostalgia,” and “When Night is Blackest.” Additionally, the editors at Poetry South nominated Fitch’s poem “Is Like” for a 2018 Pushcart Prize.
Stuart Allison (Biology) has been appointed to the position of Book Review Editor for the journal Restoration Ecology, the leading academic journal in the field of ecological restoration. He has served as a coordinating editor for the journal since 2005 and will continue in that role along with his new duties as Book Review Editor.
Stuart is also a member of the Academic Advisory Board for the Sea Education Association and recently participated in the annual meeting of the Academic Advisory Board held at SEA headquarters in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
Gina Franco (English) published her poem, “The White Cloud and the Human Form,” with the current Fall/Winter print issue of Tahoma Literary Review.
