  • GEOBASE, available through FirstSearch, contains records from 1980 to the present covering the worldwide literature on geology, geography, and ecology. A password is required.
  • GreenFILE provides citations to journal articles covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. GreenFILE draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology. Topics covered include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.
  • IllinoisAtlas.com from the Center for Governmental Studies at Northern Illinois University provides online base maps as well as physical features maps and thematic maps on agriculture and weather and climate.
  • The ISEE Bibliography is a searchable bibliography from the International Society for Environmental Ethics which contains over 5500 records composed of entries from the Newsletter of the society 1990-1996; articles and abstracts from the journal Environmental Ethics 1979-1996, the journal Environmental Values, 1992-1996, and the Journal of Agricultural Environmental Ethics, 1988-1996; and two other bibliographies on environmental ethics.
