  • The Agricola database (via First Search) includes over 2.9 million record of material acquired by the National Agricultural Library and institutions.
  • Biotechnology Information Resource from the National Agricultural Library has hundreds of links to selected sources, services and publications covering many aspects of agricultural biotechnology.
  • DUCKDATA provides a comprehensive bibliography of published literature on the ecology, conservation, and management of North American waterfowl and their wetland habitats from the U.S. Biological Resources Division (BRD), and the National Wetlands Research Center. It contains citations to journal articles, reports, and theses from the 1800s to the present.
  • ETHX: A Bibliographic Database on Bioethics and Professional Ethics, is a fully searchable database for bioethics literature from the National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature. See also Bioethics Resources on the Web.
  • Flybase is the database of journal articles and other resources on Drosophila and its Genome.
  • Genetics and Ethics Database covers books, journal articles, book chapters, bills, laws, court decisions, reports, news articles and audiovisuals relating to ethics and public policy issues in genetics.
  • MEDLINE, the National Library of Medicine’s database of journal articles and other publications, is searchable over the web through FirstSearch.
